This is a very beautiful study created by Jean-Pierre Saint-Ours, depicting a scene from the life of Christ - six characters including a Roman soldier and two carrying Torah scrolls, in front of columns (of a Temple). The medium used is charcoal and white chalk on gray laid paper. It is signed at the bottom left and measures 40cm x 29cm. On the back: Study for a red chalk drawing of a woman's head.
